Ephraim's Voyage

I wanted to create a track that invoked the feeling of a massive wooden ship lumbering out of port, thru the fog and out to sea. The track was composed in Ableton and used atmospheric samples via Spitfire with synthesized wind to set the ambiance along with an electric piano that grows more distant. The progression is carried by an ensemble of French horn, Tuba, English horn and Bassoon that grow more distorted throughout the track!
